According to a study done by Duke, panels can lose up to 50% efficiency when dirty! It’s strongly recommended to get them cleaned every 6 months to a year to maintain maximum efficiency.

And if cleaning isn’t necessarily what you signed up to do yourself, we’ve got you covered!

Our process:

First, we rinse down the panels one by one to loosen up any algae, pollen, and dust that is caked on.

Next, we use a gentle brush designed for windows and solar panels to clean the panels from top to bottom.

Lastly, we follow this with a rinse using de-ionized water which is just a fancy term for filtered water! We have a special pump that we can hook up directly to your water spigot.

And just like that, your panels are spotless! They’re now running at full efficiency and ready to go.

The average cost for a solar panel cleaning is $299 to start and that generally includes about 30 panels and goes up by around $12 per additional panel.
